I've been looking for a motorized pan and tilt mount for a while and wasn't willing to pay $15,000 for a "professional" solution. All I needed was a simple system to remotely move the camera to capture birds outdoors. I use it with 300/2.8 II + 2x + EOS R. Total weight is around 7-8 pounds. Everything works without problems. The only problem is the 90 degree lever, which is a bit flimsy. When the camera moves, it shakes slightly due to some kind of inertia and wobbles a bit due to the weight of my gear. I moved the camera closer to the hinge to make the tilt less noticeable. Tried a head with a "regular size" lens - no problem. Great product and hopefully the manufacturer will make the hand stronger in the next/updated version.
