Pan Tilt movement unstable

Used once. Heavy, the movement is not smooth and the motors are very noisy. The sound of the video consists of 50% engine noise.

Big Budget Remote Pan/Tilt

It's made of solid metal but doesn't weigh too much, is well made and packs easily into a protective zipped bag. I tested it on a tripod with a Panasonic HCX1 (around 2.5kg) and it did the job quietly and consistently - so far I'm very happy! A NOTICE. Although the UK maximum nominal voltage is 240V, under light mains loads this can rise to 253V (since 2002 supply voltage is 230V +/- 10%) so surge protection may be required.

Price Exclusive

I've been looking for a motorized pan and tilt mount for a while and wasn't willing to pay $15,000 for a "professional" solution. All I needed was a simple system to remotely move the camera to capture birds outdoors. I use it with 300/2.8 II + 2x + EOS R. Total weight is around 7-8 pounds. Everything works without problems. The only problem is the 90 degree lever, which is a bit flimsy. When the camera moves, it shakes slightly due to some kind of inertia and wobbles a bit due to the weight of

Works as described, control needs attention

mechanics and parts are very good! Very durable and very little movement if you use the right tripod or stand. Assembly was easy and the instructions are clear. Operation is simple and efficient. The only problem I have with this motorized pan/tilt is the controller. The joystick isn't very precise and acts almost like a button that you press to activate movement. You move the joystick and the position where the movement starts is different left and right. This makes it difficult for the camera

Axes Drive Stepper Motor Set could be better for this design

This is a well made device. All the details fit well. Spherical bearings run smoothly. I only have a couple of complaints: 1) The motors don't stop immediately, the residual momentum takes each axis further than necessary, whether the motor is rotating at slow or high speed. As a result, I can't move exactly where I want to go. After stopping, I can't move it manually because of the gears in the motor. A way of hitting the target of a remote controlled hoverhead. A set of stepper motors to…

A solid choice for live performance on a budget.

I bought this device to use in a 3 camera webcast of minor league hockey games. In some smaller locations it is difficult to position the camera high in the middle of the ice without having to shoot through the safety net. As a workaround, my crew installed a VidPro MH-430 on an 8ft jib crane and placed it at ice level in the secretary's box. This allowed us to raise the camera above the glass to get a good view of the movement, while moving up and down on the ice. The Vidpro MH-430 engine was…

Better than some others; Controller can be upgraded

I have one of these that I use with the AG-CX350. I also have a Bescor MP-1E that I use with an old Canon XH-A1 and four NDI-HX PTZ cameras. Each has advantages and disadvantages. The main advantage over PTZ cameras is that you can use a higher quality camera with a larger sensor. The main disadvantage is that it is impossible to save and restore positions. The main advantage over Beskor is that he is much, much faster. This gimbal can spin fast enough to deal with almost anything sentient…
