The monitor is very convenient, I've been using it for several days. The best part is that it is thin and light but made of good material. You can use it without connecting to a power source if your computer/laptop supports USB-C. However, I recommend plugging the laptop or display into a power source to keep the monitor from draining the battery. The cool thing is whether you connect a laptop or a monitor, it doesn't matter because even if you connect a monitor, your laptop will charge too.
