It didn't penetrate the crack, just stayed on the surface

It stayed on the surface without penetrating the crack and eventually "healed" in the form of a droplet on the glass (a nice little one Knife blade in paper removed it easily enough "It doesn't seem difficult even when hardened. A waste of money unfortunately."
