Excellent dental floss but not suitable for cleaning braces.
My son recently had braces fitted and our orthodontist gave us platypus floss - one side is flat so you can slide under the wire and brush your teeth. I ordered them because a) they were supposedly made specifically for flossing with braces and b) they are very reasonably priced. But the piece that is supposed to slide under the wire and lay flat is too thick. It can go under the wire with some effort, but I won't risk the wire to get there. So we used these pipe cleaner like picks that work great. However, Placker's Ortho-Picks are great for brushing teeth without braces for the rest of the family to use.
