A great option for keeping your laptop quiet and cool without even realizing your computer has a stand. I use this for my old MacBook Pro (2013) which needs a lot of fan when placed on a desk, table or lap. When I use this stand, the problem seems to be almost completely solved. If you take good care of your belongings, this is a great option. If you don't do that and just happily put your shit in a bag, that might not be the solution. I've been using mine for a few months with minor modifications and the angle is comfortable on my wrists (I have a small carpal tunnel) and the ability to cool is a huge benefit. I am very happy with the price. And the installation was pretty smart and easy. It's basically just a large sticker that folds up for use and lifts up for storage. Brilliant.
