When we opened this toy we were disappointed to find that it was made of lightweight plastic. Also, our 13 month old older toddler found it quite difficult to hit the ball so hard that it fell into the gutter. Now at 16 months he loves it! He is very happy putting the balls in the right places, hitting them hard, watching them fall down the slide, over and over again. Cause, effect and repetition is exactly what he wants at this age.
