Review on Oreck Venture Canister Hardwood Vacuum SK30075PC by Sean Bouchard

This is an amazing vacuum cleaner. I gave up vacuums because I was always chasing other people's dirt across the floor, just fanning it out instead of picking it up. As described, this is not for carpets, but great for hard floors. I live in the desert and a lot of sand gets into the house one way or another. This vacuum has great suction power and I no longer have to chase dirt across the floor. The metal rod is very strong and the plastic parts are very strong. I won't see it break unless I put a lot of pressure on the bits or on the wand. Love the versatility of being able to adjust the suction power for the mats, it's such a nice feature. This machine is really very quiet, my husband and I were so surprised at how quiet it was. It's like comparing the sound of a Honda and a Harley engine. I also like the small extra compartment in which the dust brush and crevice nozzle can be stowed away in a very small space. I give this 5 stars!
