I have had back and neck problems since I was in a car accident as a child. From time to time I have had to see a chiropractor and transfer the tension to the muscles in my upper back. I suffer from back pain due to an abnormal curvature of the spine. Needless to say I have to sleep on a very hard mattress and the pillows soak through like water. They work for a while and then become incredibly uncomfortable. I've thought about body pillows for years, but I'm not comfortable curling around a straight pillow on my side; This has left me with no back support and I still have problems with the neck pillow. I usually sleep on my side and sometimes on my back. Instead, this pillow wraps around YOU, which is awesome! The neck part is quite soft, but not too bulky and not too soft due to the memory foam. I was captivated from the first night. I LOVE how you can rotate to one side for back support and then the other when you need leg support and it's so nice to rock you to sleep. I've transformed my entire family and will never be without this pillow again. I use a king size pillowcase so I don't have to wash the whole pillowcase as often.
