If you can, just plug it in, which is probably > 90% of the time because it's a micro USB connector and they're still everywhere! But if for some reason you are not near the Micro USB port/socket for it, keep that in mind!? You still have batteries! (Yes, batteries included). Overall it's very easy to use, easy to grasp and calibrate when you feel you need it, with the 50g weight that comes in the box. and seems to last a decent amount of time. I've been using it for a few months now and it's still working great with no issues.
