Wanted an adapter to connect my Google Home Mini to my 80's Hi-Fi Stereo. Obviously, this old thing didn't have built-in Bluetooth. Wireless was reserved for AM/FM radio only. Picked up, plugged into the RCA jacks on the back of the stereo, everything connected straight away. At least 2 minutes into the music started it got very choppy. Consider occasionally buffering music back to the internet via a dial-up connection. I dropped both the G-Home and BT adapters, and in just a few minutes the same thing. I've been using g-home mini with BT speakers for a while without any problems. And tried again with them, worked well. So this particular adapter isn't up to date. And before anyone asks, the standard spacing was around 18 inches. I removed it from the Mini in case of a malfunction. Did not help. I got it closer to 2 inches and it still couldn't get it to play consistently. The lights that are on when no music is playing is a solid blue Bluetooth icon. Once it tries to play music, the aac light will turn green. I don't think g-mini supports apt-x so it should have been off and stayed on. I'll be looking for a more substantial device than messing around with it more.
