I've read a lot of reviews about sports swimwear. All performance/competition suits are smaller than regular jerseys, so order a size or two larger. I've found that the reason suits are getting smaller is because the suit itself needs to fit snugly against the body for optimal performance. But for my freshman 13-year-old daughter, she needed comfort and aesthetics more than performance, so I ordered a size up. My daughter is smaller and bigger. At 5ft 1in and weighing 162lbs, a size 36 fits her body proportions perfectly.
