Flash drives are prone to breaking, losing, and filling up throughout the course of their lifetimes. The decision was made to get a new one for regular use that was affordable, not too huge, did not have a USB 3.0 port, but was quick enough to avoid turning gray before the information was written to them. The decision was made to go with this one, and I came out ahead. The speed performance is extremely good; first of all, it is quick; second of all, the difference in speed between reading and writing is negligible; and third of all, the speed is not affected by the file system, which is typically the case with other flash drives manufactured by other firms. In the time before the recall, I examined 19 flash drives in order to make a representative comparison of their properties. The findings are, for the most part, in agreement with the long-term observations. Only USB 2.0 will be taken into consideration, despite the fact that USB 3.0 has a read speed that is at least five times faster than USB 2.0. The speed of this flash drive is 27 / 21, respectively. Better I only saw one, a Kingston DT R500, which had a score of 39 out of 20. And so, if reading from flash drives is generally 20-25 / 15-18 - already good, but every office has flash drives with a wild skew and slow recording, for example: Apacer 25/4, Verbatim 18/7, Transcend 24/5, Mirex 18/4, Patriot 25/5, Kingston 22/7. SanDisk expressed a lot of satisfaction with this model; I will recommend it to my friends. Added - I purchased an additional 64 GB of storage, and while the performance is slightly lower, the ratio is still outstanding.
