Makes my crafting time a more enjoyable experience

I'll start by saying I have tremors in my hands and for years have attempted to add color to metal charms (for bracelets and other jewelry) by using nail polish. It seldom yielded true colors unless I put on multiple coats; even coverage was also an issue plus with my shaking hands the nail polish brush went places I didn't want it to go. Fine detailing was nearly impossible. And as anyone who uses nail polish knows, it doesn't wash off your hands with soap and water. You have to use acetone (nail polish remover).Frustrated, I began researching other options and I purchased this acrylic paint marker set after reading the reviews. I discovered the colors in this set are varied enough to use the different shades of green for grass, flower stalks and leaves on trees or to use the various shades of blue for sky, water and a bird. The color choices are wonderful but the best part is the varied uses of the marker tip. The fine point on the marker allows me to do tiny detail (centers of flowers, edges of designs, etc) or I can use the side of the marker tip for a broader stroke or to cover a larger area. Using these markers has allowed me to give charms that pop of color that I've been wanting for years and even with my shaking hands I can do finer detail than a nail polish brush ever allowed me.I've included a couple photos so you can see the small size of the metal charms and the fine detailing these markers allow. If you look at the charms you'll see a penny included for size reference. The coverage is superb and only one coat is needed. The paint stays on well and so far no chipping has occurred despite direct blows from other charms moving, swinging and hanging in the door knob charms that are shown in the photo. The second photo shows how I store the markers. I keep the marker tips upward so no paint clogs happen while in storage. As you can see, I cut up the packaging and attached it to the container for future reference and tucked the other info inside the container with the markers. Don't worry if you don't keep the packaging for reference because instructions are printed on the sides of each marker. Keeping the markers in a container like this allows me faster access while crafting instead of pulling them out of a case. Plus it's easier for me to see what color I want and choose it.Here are some other details to help you decide if these markers are right for you. First, I have had no problems with the paint running, bleeding or smearing while using it. It dries to the touch on the metal charms in approximately 20 minutes. I apply one color at a time and let it dry so no smearing or unwanted blending of colors happens. Small delicate touches of the marker tip give thinner lines and longer holds while pushing down gently on the marker's tip will give you a larger flow of paint for more coverage or to give a "bump" of paint for your designs, especially mandalas. If you're messy like I tend to be, the paint easily washes off your hands with soap and water. I haven't gotten the paint on my clothes or on work surfaces -yet- so I can't give any information about that. The paint dries shiny so I don't have to use a gloss top coat. If you've used chalk markers before, these are so similar that you won't have any problems creating with them. Finally, I strongly advise just as the manufacturer suggests to keep a scrap of paper to test the markers EVERY time before you use them. When the paint is flowing in the amount you want, you're ready to begin creating.I'll close by saying I like these acrylic paint markers so much that I am buying them as gifts for my friends who also craft. I highly recommend these to artists, jewelry makers and other crafters. High quality and affordability make these a great buy and a delightful crafting experience.
