I'm going to be a physiotherapist soon and can hardly see the small numbers on the watch. This Speidel watch has luminous hands, so they do not have to be backlit. If you want it to light up, it's an additional $20, and it doesn't have orange-and-red 24-hour 12-3 and 6-9 markers and day and date functions. I recommend getting $20 off instead. It's very retro and much more attractive than the extra $20 if you don't want to get it if you're a watch collector. save your money Enjoy these hours. I had no luck with this watch for years. Just try not to submerge it in water too much other than giving it a quick rinse. Wipe them down with a good lens cleaner and take them to your local watch repair shop for new batteries. This will last for years.
