I put these on my 2014 Honda Ridgeline. I love the truck but the blind spots are pretty awful. All the pillars seem to be too big or in the wrong place. To better understand cars I usually have trouble seeing, I dug into blind spot mirrors. Now I tried round mirrors. I've come to the conclusion that this is ideal for cars. Round mirrors give you a wide view of everything, but round mirrors have proven to be a huge waste of space. The useful parts of the mirror were relatively small and my favorite 2 inch is too small. In the round mirror, half showed me my own truck, which probably won't crash in on itself. This rectangular mirror effectively cuts off the top and bottom of a round mirror, allowing you to see far enough without taking up much vertical space. Because the mirror is deflected outwards, you don't look at your car either. For my truck, these mirrors (I bought the larger ones, 2.5" x 3.75") are located on the bottom outside corners of the side mirrors. So I have convex mirrors for blind spots and still have a lot of "normal" mirror surface to look into the distance. The mirror area is pretty clear and works well. Great price and good quality.
