I came up with a new cable that is exactly the right length (1.6 feet) and color (black); It makes my desk much cleaner. Unfortunately for what I paid for this cable I am very disappointed. My 3 year old 6 foot cable is better than this brand new freshly unpacked half 1/4 length cable. What's wrong with these companies: Anker doesn't get rich from all the products I bought from them, but I don't buy their products anymore. All I want is a good, short, thick, and good quality Thunderbolt cable. Don't get me wrong, this cable does what it says on the tin, but not everything at the same time. I need a cable that will charge my laptop at 90w (this one claims to be able to do 100w) and also be a thunderbolt cable for my keyboard and audio. This cable only does one or the other. At best, it's just USB 3.0. I don't understand how my old cable that is 4 times longer can outperform this cable; if it is really claimed so. Do not buy this cable, cables of this quality usually sell for 1/3 less.
