Review on Create Your Own Crystal Fox: Klutz Craft & Science Kit by Francisco Taylor

Because my daughter had recently conducted a crystal growth demonstration for her "Kindergarten Scientist" presentation, my kids and I happened to be fairly well prepared for the steps involved in using this kit. The fox is definitely tiny, but if you look at the dimensions of the kit itself you can see that it won't accommodate much larger. We used glass mason jars we have on hand and used other pipe cleaners to make shapes with the extra solution. We had fun and grew crystals, but I think our expectations were more realistic due to our recent crystal growing efforts. The packaging and advertisement could have done more to align expectations and clarify the extra materials (jars, distilled water) required.
