This won’t keep you cool.

I read the great reviews and it made me comfortable shelling out a crazy amount of money for some overseas flat pack that I knew would be a pain to assemble.I made it a point to not rush through assembly because when you get frustrated with this stuff you end up messing up parts, so I very much took my time even though 3+ pieces didn’t even have the proper holes drilled in them.3 days later of slow assembly and I’m so excited to finally enjoy my replacement of my breeze swinging umbrella to keep me and my wife cool…and it turns out we purchased what’s essentially a greenhouse. It’s a mild 73 degrees here today and the sun on the polycarbonate roof not only blocks basically zero sun but gathers and radiates it down. I say this from my hammock where it is literally hotter under the gazebo than it is 10’ away in the sun.I really wanted this for a blocker of the buggy Midwest evenings and a comfortable place to cool off out of the sun on a hot day and it appears it does the exact opposite. Having came in a 138 lb and 39 lb package and after 8 hours of assembly time it looks like I’m stuck with it.

Pros
  • The aluminum frame is rust-proof, ensuring that the gazebo will remain beautiful for many years to come
Cons
  • Canopy may not provide full coverage for larger groups of people
