Not sure how well it will perform in heavy rain as there is no silicone seal between the rear and front lenses and the front lens is exposed to the air. However, this allowed me to install the camera in a better place. Rain is expected for all of next week so time will tell how it holds up. I can end up adding silicone around the top and a USB cable on the back for better protection. I read the warning on the screws and tried to be extra careful when installing. I drilled pilot holes, adjusted the screwdriver to size. As a result, the head of the second of the two screws began to detach as it was being screwed in. So buy better third-party screws to prevent this. Pros: * Excellent mount option for Wyzecam. * Easily position the camera where you want to show it. Cons: * Not waterproof and maybe only slightly water resistant * No front lens cap to keep water out * Soft metal screws come loose easily
