Apparently my Jayco slide is a little under 12 inches. I figured I would have to loosen 4 screws, insert and replace the outer plastic stop. After removing the old part which had a crack it turned out to be too big. I was able to use a handsaw and cut off just enough to fit in the slot. Even after sanding it still doesn't slip like the old one and I had to reuse the outer plastic stop (unless I wanted to cut and drill new holes. It rubbed when cutting so not perfect but didn't crack. Not difficult to install , just don't replace the slider, at least not on my trailer.
