I bought this monitor to maximize screen real estate at full 4k resolution. On my 27" 4k monitor it wasn't possible to use the full 3840x2160 resolution because the scale was too small. So I ran it at 2560x1440 which gave exceptional text/graphics clarity but the screen real estate The 43" Dell U432Q monitor is large enough to use the full 3840 x 2160 resolution and was easy to read. The problem is that at this resolution there is no retina/scaling and you are only using individual pixels .This really ruins text/graphics legibility and feels like a throwback to a decade ago when scaling wasn't used.In short you can use full UHD pixel count but it looks like an old- School monitor with huge pixels I sent it back and bought two 27" 4k monitors now lined up vertically side by side for a similar number of pixels but with crystal clear scaling. my two cents
