I bought them boxed because they are hard to come by from Subaru or Toyota and are more expensive. I have used four of these supposedly OEM replacement washers and each of them resulted in a leak. I gave up and bought an OEM and the problem was solved. It seems that the manufacturing method is not entirely correct. Although the sizes and shapes appear to be identical, they are not airtight. All manufactured to OEM torque specifications. no problems before or after use but these washers leak all the time.
