Liked it then Liked it now

Both myself and my significant other had this as kids and while looking for something for my youngest and only grandson for the holidays we came across this. Talk about bringing back memories. We decided it would be ideal if he gave it to my grandson. Not only did he like that, but also his two-year-old older sister. She is very good at sharing and also helps her little brother to learn things. They sent me some pics of kids playing with their phones, this one and others I got (found the best way not to worry about where ours is or who has them if they have one of their own). ). My granddaughter will call her grandmother and then pass the phone to her brother so he can talk to his grandmother too. We've found that while neither of us have a landline or basic telephone in our home, it's surprising that this little toy has become more popular than toy cell phones with both children. Because I liked the colors on it and thought the kids would love it, I was right. It's so great to find such a toy from my childhood that my grandkids loved so much. Unfortunately almost all of my children's toys were damaged or destroyed when my parents' house was flooded a few years ago so this was an even better find. It was almost as if I could have passed on a little piece of my own childhood to her. Also, everyone had fun on the phone at Christmas, we had to leave the room while she dialed and handed the phone to her brother so he could call us.
