Good luck next time

The phone cord is too short and small, I think it's more suitable for a baby to crawl, not a toddler, my son didn't play with it at all.

Pros
  • All is well!
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than other picks

Poor reception is best for electronic toys for toddlers

I wish they had provided a longer antenna as I don't have very good reception. I literally have to be near another person to hear what they are saying. But it has wheels so I think it's a cell phone so 4 stars for that.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Not bad but...

High quality but serious problem

Headset thread is very short, only 5 inches. So your child will have to pull out the whole phone to pretend that they are on the phone, or they will have to bend over and most likely fall on their face like my little monster did. I'll get a longer thread at the dollar store and replace the thread, it's a simple operation, just a few screws to open it to make changes. That issue aside, it was a good buy at this price point.

Pros
  • One-year trial period
Cons
  • Functionality

Great toy! Short cord is safer boys!

First I'll say for those who complain that the phone cord is too short - stop and risk for a second that a longer cord is a hazard to your child represents . As for the product itself, this little phone is well made, the colors are bright and it's very reminiscent of the old school version. my baby loves it She has no problem resting her entire phone on her lap to use the handset while she's "on the phone." The rotary switch takes a little longer to understand and is a bit tricky to turn, but…

piss off! suitable for early development of electronic toys

people! This is a telephone and it must have a handset/receiver that reaches to the ear. It has a tiny lanyard that when you pick up the phone it also picks up the phone because the code is too short. Instead, they created code to pull the phone on wheels, which is ridiculous. You make phone calls and don't pull. I mean it's ok to have a train function but why limit the fun part of a phone call by outrageously shortening that part of the toy. I hate this toy for this reason and even bought 2…

Colorful, cute (more on that later), my 1 year old loves it but has design flaws: - My baby likes to pretend to be on the phone but the cord connecting the "handset" to the base station , it is too short. So whenever he puts it to his ear to try to "speak," he also raises the base. The turntable bounces way too fast when released, it should move slower than a real one and make a nice ding-ding ping (that sort of thing, just too fast) not that a one year old would mind. - Like I said, it's cute…

Cannot be removed from the box!

This was the most complex toy ever to come out of the box. Neither of my husbands could figure out how to remove the hard plastic attachments without using a pair of cutters. That left dangerous, sharp pieces of plastic sticking out from the bottom of the phone that couldn't even be pulled out with pliers. Our only option seemed to be to take out the 4 long screws holding the whole toy together. We did it carefully which resulted in some of the inner parts falling apart. Opening it, we could…

Liked it then Liked it now

Both myself and my significant other had this as kids and while looking for something for my youngest and only grandson for the holidays we came across this. Talk about bringing back memories. We decided it would be ideal if he gave it to my grandson. Not only did he like that, but also his two-year-old older sister. She is very good at sharing and also helps her little brother to learn things. They sent me some pics of kids playing with their phones, this one and others I got (found the best…
