I think this is very unattractive but I needed a great inexpensive option for swimming in the sea, lake or river when there is a rocky surface at the entrance. They're surprisingly well made for the price (I bought them on the $20 Lightning Deal), are very comfortable, and stay in place while swimming (thanks to the excellent lace-tightening mechanism). They're excellent value for money (not Vibram, but close), but they're also pretty light and dry quickly. A decent insole provides good stability and cushioning considering the nature of this shoe.
