Not reassuring, choose a different direction of aftercare.

It pains me to write this because I love the Elta MD but this product just doesn't impress. I have inflammatory rosacea and have to use a lot of different products on my skin. I'm also approaching thirty and have started wrinkle prevention. I've read that it can help relieve chemical peels or if you're taking too much retinol. Honestly, it hurts more than if I hadn't done anything. I used this after using alpha-beta peels too close together at home; I had some irritation around my eyebrows/cheekbones. I read that it was more like aloe, which I thought was more of an advantage than a disadvantage. It's not as soothing as aloe. B. Everything. I wouldn't call it reassuring. Didn't notice any reduction in redness. Here, too, it burns when applied. When your skin is already irritated and you trust a product to not complicate things, it's more than a little disappointing when it doesn't work. For me the smell of plastic. You could say it's supposed to be odorless, but it still has a "flavor". I wouldn't call it pleasant, but the added flavor would probably be even more disturbing. I will not buy again. I do not recommend this product.
