My tiny 100 year old house has ONE outlet in the kitchen. (Can you imagine that?!) So it DEFINITELY needed some extensibility. The fact that it has USB ports and a removable tray, well that's exactly what I needed and I didn't know about it until I stumbled upon this nonsense. Trust me I did a lot of research when I found out these things exist and finally settled on this particular one because of the features and value. I can connect the lighting under the cabinet and still have 5 free slots for everything else. The shelf is PERFECT for picking my phone off the counter and is centrally located. (I ordered a 1-inch USB-to-C connector for this purpose, and there's a USB connector and a Type-C connector as well). It arrived quickly, was packaged and was a great price.
