Review on MPOWERD Luci Explore: Solar Portable Light + Speaker + Phone Charger + Wake Up Light, App-Controlled Bluetooth Wireless, Endless Color Choices, 220 Lumens, 24-Hour Runtime, Battery-Free by Michael Cox

We took the Luci Explore on a dry hike in the Bighorn Mountains. With the Explore we were able to keep the kids entertained and quell their fear of the dark at night by using it as a night light! My 13 year old loved plugging his phone into the Explore and playing his favorite music (quietly!) while lounging in the hammock. My 9 year old enjoyed changing the color of the LED about every 10 minutes! Both boys (and I) were constantly arguing about who had the best "vibe" on the Luci app! It charges without being connected to our RV battery which is totally worth it! The app is really good, so I don't have to get out of my sleeping bag at night to turn it off. The LED backlight is long lasting - I think we were able to last around 8 hours by leaving it on at medium brightness overnight. I would venture it would last all night if set low. USB charging is pretty quick - you can turn it off before bed, plug in the battery, and it's ready to go the next day. A few more thoughts: The speaker is VERY loud, so make sure you know your Bluetooth volume. Level before you plug in the device (oops, yeah). We'd like to see some sort of hook to attach it to the tent/hammock/backpack. Not only would this make it easier to keep clean, but it could also help with charging while hiking if you could just strap it to your backpack. Overall we love it and will definitely recommend it to our friends and family!
