I like this thermometer as the display is easy to see but it has two small things I don't like, firstly the magnet isn't that strong so it slides on it down whenever I put it on. Secondly it has an alarm so regardless of the temp it's set it will signal when it's over sounds great but if you're checking something and forget it's set to a different temp it's a pain. Also, you can't disable this feature, hence my three stars. Otherwise it does what it's designed for and comes with a second sensor that can be plugged into the side to have a constant temperature on something, so putting my stars back to four.
