This item appears to be of good quality has a tighter mesh (smaller holes in the mesh) which should be more resistant to snagging. On the back of the visible black flap there are pockets for storing 6-8 DVDs/CDs. It's also a bit thicker than the ieGeek case (there's room for two DVDs in their plastic cases) When I bought mine, this case was $11 less than ieGeek (and looked better to my liking) No shoulder strap as advertised (and no rings to fit) I am very happy with this purchase.
