Bought to replace a similar unit that was starting to have problems. Was a little wary of plugging in a cell phone as I felt it might add complexity and slow down the performance of a 'landline phone'. NOT SO. The phone is easy to install and works great with both landline and mobile phones. Phones are light but not flimsy. Ringtones are clear and loud and can be changed and modulated. Cell phone clarity is also perfect. Interestingly, I took the chance and bought a device offered by Amazon Warehouse "used in good condition". The discount was compelling and I've only had a GREAT experience on previous purchases. NOT SURE what made it "acceptable" as it was BRAND NEW and still in the original packaging. Once again a GREAT offer with full functionality and not a single downside that I can think of. Recognize. Check used when buying. You might save $$$ on a sweet deal!
