Bought this because I wanted to make my iMac bigger. It's a great computer, but the chair/desk combo I use all the time makes me look down. Not much, mind you, but enough that my neck muscles ache if I do it for too long. It elevates the iMac to the point where I can now look at it directly. I hope this solves some of the current postural issues I have in the long run. It was easy to assemble. - only a few screws need to be tightened - you don't even need tools. They also give you a duplicate of each of the parts in the parts bag, so that's cool. It's sturdy, according to the documentation it can support around 176 lbs / 80 kg. I won't test the limits of that - the iMac that runs it weighs 19.7 pounds according to Apple's documentation, so no problem. There is enough space on the side to maybe put your phone and one other item. - In my photo you can see I have an iMac based Apple Superdrive and on the right is a separate Blu-ray player as well as my iPhone. I can stow my keyboard underneath to free up a little more space, which I've never been able to do before. USB ports are good - there are four of them, and these are 3.0 ports. One minor thing about them, you can really only use them with ports on the right side. Technically, you can flip the stand backwards and place it on the left side, but the cable that plugs into your computer's USB port sticks out right out the front, which is pretty unsightly from an aesthetic point of view. However, if you use them on the right, you won't see this in normal use. Although they can be used on the left, it's not a pretty visual effect if you do. You can also use a screwdriver to completely detach the USB hub from the stand, but this will leave a hole. But it's really a small flaw. Just pointing out what I'm seeing with USB ports. Also, make sure to publish the article. If you put a table there and then put your computer/monitor on it and try to move it, the plastic anti-slip pads that fit over the table legs will slip off. I had to remove the iMac, replace the legs, and put the stand where I wanted it. It is definitely recommended not to move the stand after placing it on the table. Overall this was a great purchase and does what it says on the tin. Easy assembly, no tools required and does what it's supposed to. If that were the case for all products, we would be in top shape.
