The product is good, there are only a few minor flaws.

I myself own a 1D mark III. A colleague bought a 7D, on this occasion they began to compare cameras by themselves. Was pleasantly surprised. In tracking autofocus, the 7D is not inferior to the 1Dmk3. Sometimes it seems to me that even surpasses. In terms of noise up to ISO 3200, 7D has a small loss, which is almost leveled by the larger image size. At ISO 6400, on the contrary, 7D noise is slightly lower. The viewfinders are the same. Switching to presets C1, C2, C3 in 7D is even more convenient than in 1D. Well, the screen is much better, there's nothing to say. In short, for reporting - a very practical acquisition.

Pros

Excellent autofocus. Noticeably better than the 40D/50D. Zone focusing is very handy. The rate of fire is excellent, almost like the 1D. Bright viewfinder with bold focus points. Gorgeous screen. Presets C1, C2, C3 on the wheel. There are many small tweaks to settings that were previously only available in 1D. The built-in flash finally became the leader. Excellent video footage. New button for LiveView/Video. Lots of shots on one charge.

Cons

There is no audio commentary for the photo, although there is a microphone. Well, they should have added such a function to the menu? New chip batteries. If you buy third-party batteries, then they need their own charger and the camera will not display their charge. But it will shoot, at least thanks for that. Thought-out horizontal handle (must be done like Nikon, so that 3 batteries are inserted). Customizable buttons have few options for selecting functions. Noises are ugly, dirty, they do not look like film grain. If you pull it up, then the noise in the shadows climbs too high. If you don't pull, it's fine. The camera heats up while recording video. Slightly reduced grip compared to 40D/50D. Anyway, I don't really like this streamlined design.

Pros: The best camera with a cropped matrix. Indestructible car. Excellent for reporting. Rapid-fire, holds a charge for a long time. Cons below: There is simply nothing to complain about.
