One of these straps has been on all my Canon cameras: 40D, 5D II and 1D IV. I use them to shoot weddings, college and pro sports and a few other events. The largest lens I take with me is the 300 2.8 and it's usually on a monopod, I rarely use it handheld. The largest PDA 70-200 2.8. I do not photograph nature, birds, family pictures and the like. This is my belief system. I received these belts before the new belt systems were available; Quick pull styles, strap attachment styles, etc. etc. Some of these new systems are sleek and easy to use, but they are very expensive for a set of nylon straps and D-rings. Strap on detail, others have, and overall this is a quality strap that's a huge improvement over the factory strap on even the best DSLRs. For the person who wants to take it a step further to either improve comfort or handle heavier gear, this will come in handy. For the working professional, I have found that the best options (for price and performance) are available in the firearms community, one point and two point slings are comparable in price and allow for additional modifications to fit the individual body. Sometimes a modification is required to work with the camera, but it's not difficult. I hope it helps.
