Nice neck strap, not very comfortable but good enough

I've never liked the standard neck strap Canon ships with their cameras; It's made of a rough nylon that's irritating on the back of your neck, especially when you've got a heavy lens attached to your camera. Tired of the original straps, I decided to find a good alternative. Initially, I found OP/TECH ports to attach my camera to my backpack straps. You are a great problem solver. With them, the weight of the camera becomes completely unimportant. However, this product is a solution for short…

Love this strap: Bags & Cases

I had a Canon T2i and now a Canon 7D and I've used this strap on both cameras. Canon factory straps irritated my neck. Within minutes my throat was sweaty, itchy and sore with a red rash on it. The first few times I thought it was a sunburn, but eventually I realized it was a strap. I had a 2 week trip to Europe ahead of me and didn't want to get stuck with an uncomfortable harness so I checked out the photo forum I'm on and everyone seemed to agree so I bought it. Let me say I couldn't be…

Very convenient and flexible system, with one caveat.

The width (weight distribution) and ergonomic shape of this strap struck me as much more comfortable than the same company's "Super Classic Strap". Unfortunately, unlike the "Super Classic Strap", the connectors that attach the Pro Loop Strap to the camera do not separate from the "Extensions". That way, if you want to put the camera on a tripod or just want to hold it in your hand without a strap, you still have two 12-inch straps hanging around after the neck strap is removed. (You can join…

Great product just got better

I have used the OP/Tech strap as my primary camera strap for almost a decade. My trusty old blue, sun-bleached and worn from filming in unknown locations around the world. I recently gifted one of my cameras to a friend and decided to buy her a new OP/Tech strap rather than give her my old, battle-worn strap. I was so excited about the new one that I immediately ordered another one for myself. I'm still so attached to the original that I can't throw it away just yet, but the new one graces my…

Good strap, not great.

One of these straps has been on all my Canon cameras: 40D, 5D II and 1D IV. I use them to shoot weddings, college and pro sports and a few other events. The largest lens I take with me is the 300 2.8 and it's usually on a monopod, I rarely use it handheld. The largest PDA 70-200 2.8. I do not photograph nature, birds, family pictures and the like. This is my belief system. I received these belts before the new belt systems were available; Quick pull styles, strap attachment styles, etc. etc…

Why sticky? in the Camera & Photo section

I've had this camera on my camera for a total of about an hour since I bought it a year ago. Granted, this is mostly because I just don't like straps, but that's part of what I was hoping this would help; separability. And this part is really well done. This is the pillow that killed me. What's Good: + Buckle release makes it easier to remove the camera while seated + Buckles are reversed between left and right side so you can zip the short ends together to keep them from dangling + Loops are…
