Review on Waterproof Bike Saddle for Exercise Bikes and Outdoor Cycling - Universal Fit, Shock Absorbing Seat with Comfortable Memory Foam by Rick Gondoras

Illuminated Comfort Upgrade

This is a great upgrade for the less comfortable bike seats found on many bikes. It feels softer yet firm thanks to its layered gel and memory foam construction. Replacing an old bike seat with this one is easy and takes about 5 minutes with the tools provided. A sun/dust cover is included to keep the seat clean and last longer. The included reflective strips are a bonus and improve visibility when riding at the end of the day or in the evening. This seat has a center groove designed to reduce pressure on the crotch area. Ideally, this should relieve the perineal area. However, everyone is different and may require a different style/size bike seat for maximum comfort or riding style. The only issue I had with this bike seat was the location of the light switch. It's easy to accidentally turn on the light by holding the bike by the back of the seat. This is a minor issue and just takes a little getting used to. Check out the video showing the tail light. The old seat had springs that creaked when going over bumps. The new seat has rubber bushings instead of springs, so they're quiet while still providing shock absorption. The seat kit contains two reflective strips, as well as a wrench, an Allen key and a dust and sun protection seat cover.
