Wow thats fast. I grill A LOT and just use my gut most of the time because I refused to stand there with a long thermometer waiting for it to get to the right temperature. At the risk of burning or cooling the meat too quickly. I decided to explore new models and came across this guy. There were several manufacturers to choose from and I just wanted it to be fast, accurate, mostly waterproof and blue to match our kitchen when not being used on an outdoor grill (and still be able to be used off the stovetop) . It meets all of these requirements. I only wish I had bought it a few years ago.
