Review on 🐑 Organic Merino Wool Nursing Pads - Original Style, Medium Size, 7 inch Diameter: A Gentle and Soft Solution by Denise Harmeyer

Bought a pair in an extra small size. For reference, I have a capital B, a small C (when it swells). I'm very frustrated and after reading the reviews I figured Ekstra would be the obvious way to go. When I received the pads I was shocked at how big they are! I was sure I would have to trade them in for an XS but to my surprise once I put them on they fit perfectly. While feeding my son, I was severely let down and the pad on the other breast got wet and leaked (not the whole pad, just the bottom one). I was so upset because these pads are amazing! And I like the fact that they are all natural wool and nothing synthetic or bleached. The Lansinoh pads I used caused itching, which was also another reason I wanted to switch to these wool pads. So I called Danish Wool directly and spoke to my husband and the company owner. He was very knowledgeable and after explaining my situation, recommended that I put a mini pad (3 1/2 inch diameter) in place until the baby was older. Apparently the frustration is stronger at the beginning. He was so nice and just amazing at communicating. I am very happy about the Mini. As soon as I get a chance to use it with it I'll update my review. For now I'm still giving this product 5 stars because even when it's wet you hardly feel it's even there. Very cool! And I think I need to use it a few more times to really tear up the product and make it as absorbent as possible. Incidentally, the same thing happened to the 100% cotton Aiden and Anais bibs I bought for my first son. Apparently they needed a few washes/applications before being fully absorbed and there seems to be the same issue with wool pads. Natural fibers work differently than synthetic fibers and unfortunately many of us these days are not used to using 100% natural products.
