Review on Panasonic RQ2102 Cassette Recorder by Sirious Cavalli

A beautiful, durable device that can be used both on the desk and on the go. This device will give you years of recording and playback pleasure. The one I received was being used carefully, apparently by a college student, as it also contained a cassette of a lecture on the biology of the human gut. The playback is of high quality, both in terms of spoken word and music. Recording is more suited to lectures than musical performances, but if you're in a pinch you can certainly plug in a line and record. If you absolutely have to transfer digital audio (e.g. from a computer) to tape, this unit will do it, but don't expect studio-quality sound. playing long tapes and recording entire lectures on them and then going through them with a fine comb, which I find better than my shorthand notes.
