When I first tried them on I thought they were plastic but I didn't realize it after wearing them to work for 2 days. Much better than cotton for staying cool. If you sweat a lot, the shirt is still quite damp, but it doesn't become an oven. Dries much faster than cotton once you get a chance to rest. The shirts didn't shrink after the first wash. They have a glossy sheen compared to cotton. Hanes has a better deal on their website, more colors and you don't have to buy 2 packs for the best price. You just have to be willing to accept standard shipping versus simple shipping. I ordered 11 to add to the 2 I already have.
