Great construction and materials

I have always bought the cheapest umbrellas I could find as I usually only need them for the short California rainy season, red skin is bad. I'm a big guy and I needed a big umbrella and I found it online. I have just received my Silver Sun Block UV Umbrella and have been really impressed with the quality of the design and materials used. All poles are made from high quality material which I initially thought might be carbon fiber but turns out it is actually fiberglass. It feels durable and definitely looks like it will last a few seasons. My other umbrellas would only last one season because by the time I use them next year they are rusted. I like this one because the only metal I can see is the latch that holds the umbrella, all the poles and links are fiberglass or toughened plastic. This is what I'll be using all summer and I need something I don't have to worry about. I thought a UV umbrella might be a full blackout material, but you can see little spots of light coming through it. There's nowhere enough to see and definitely keeps you a lot cooler in the sun. Even if it's 108 today, it's still pretty pathetic, but at least I don't get sunburned. The carrying strap is cool, however you have to wrap the umbrella quite tightly to put it on. I gave 4 stars because trying to remove the bag immediately ripped the strap. The stitches are only single and I don't think it will last long. Perhaps some sort of tongue at the end would be a better design for the occasion. I'll use it for a while and let you know how long it will last.
