It was easy enough to put together. I did it myself with minimal effort. I've been using it for a few months now and it's holding up great, including the laminated top and cloth pouch. It's a little bigger than I would like, but true to size. You can't lean on the leading edge (the top of the C shape) at all, or it will tip over, and I've learned that the safest way is to either hold it with two hands or move it with one plate and one foot on the base - but otherwise very stable.
