These shoes are excellent if you are trying to find house slippers ("bedroom shoes" as my grandparents used to call them) that fit swollen feet well. I have looked everywhere to find shoes that fit my feet that are swollen from edema. The ones that I found prior to buying these were not wide enough or stretchy enough to fit my feet on them comfortably. Either too tight or my foot couldn't fit in them. These Longbay slippers are both wide enough for even my feet and slightly stretchy. My feet slip in these shoes easily and all the way in with no pressure or discomfort. The velcro closure is wide enough to accomodate different levels of foot swelling and can even be left open for even more comfort while the shoe still remains securely on the foot. One note, the foam in the insoles of the shoes are NOT memory foam, as the foam does not sink in and hold the shape when pressure is applied, its regular foam instead but its thick and very comfortable. I am buying a second pair of these shoes, love 'em!
