Received my light today and it's even BETTER than I expected. I read detailed test reports before buying and decided on this flashlight mainly because of the reviews but also because of the price. Due to the price, I was expecting an element of "cheapness" of the product or accessory and I couldn't be more wrong. I unpacked the flashlight and tested it in the darkened hallway. When I first turned it on I was pretty impressed with the brightness - I decided to see what the other modes looked like and BAM! I didn't know that the 1st level is the darkest and only got brighter after that - the other lights start glowing, then you have to press again for dimming, but it's the other way around. Comes to the darkest setting of 1. The medium settings were even more impressive, and the high settings were just brilliant! It also blinks. I'm not worried about getting a good view of the trail on my mountain bike, or if I'm out the cars will definitely see me coming. I was curious about the size of the flashlight before receiving it, it was hard to see online how big it actually was and I was afraid it might be too intrusive, but it wasn't. I have included some photos of the light mounted on my pole between the phone holder and the Go-Pro mount. Also, it was very easy to install with the included straps. I read some reviews where the light moved on the pole after installing it, so I put a rubber washer under the base before securing it to the pole with rubber grommet bands. It feels very secure. I used the included Velcro straps to extend one of the battery pack straps so I could attach it to the top bar next to the slats. It fits great and doesn't bother at all. I used two more velcro straps to attach the headlight mount to my helmet. When I get the second headlamp, it alternates between the helmet lamp and my other bike. The included rear light is perfect for my MTN bike on the trail. This gives off enough light so you can be seen without blinding anyone behind you. It won't replace the Bontrager for on-road riding, but it's great for off-road use or as a backup light. Haven't tried the diffuser yet, the clear glass light beam has enough side lighting, I don't think I need a diffuser, but I need to see it at night to be sure. It's great to have the option enabled. Feel free to buy this light - I will be buying two more after posting this review, one for my other bike/helmet and one for a Christmas present. The seller was also great, by the way, sent me an email with instructions and tips before I received the flashlight. I couldn't be happier!
