I bought this cable to connect my old turntable and receiver jack to a Griffin iMic tape recorder and power it from my laptop so I could read old vinyl records can digitize. But there's no signal from the tape recorder's connector, even though it's supposed to be both an input and an output connector. I figured if I had a B&O cassette deck I could transfer the signal from the turntable to the cassette deck, so the same connector should send the signal to the computer. But that's not the case. Now I have to buy another cable and try to connect the player directly to the iMic.
