NOT CONNECTED FOR MIDI: Cable for stereo plugs

It did not work as a MIDI cable and I confirmed that the pins for MIDI were not properly connected. Don't buy if you need this.

Pros
  • Audio and video accessories
Cons
  • Some small things

Won't help you digitize old vinyl records

I bought this cable to connect my old turntable and receiver jack to a Griffin iMic tape recorder and power it from my laptop so I could read old vinyl records can digitize. But there's no signal from the tape recorder's connector, even though it's supposed to be both an input and an output connector. I figured if I had a B&O cassette deck I could transfer the signal from the turntable to the cassette deck, so the same connector should send the signal to the computer. But that's not the case…

Pros
  • Audio cable

Doesn't help you to digitize old vinyl records

laptop so I can digitize old vinyl records. But there's no signal from the tape recorder's connector, even though it's supposed to be both an input and an output connector. I figured if I had a B&O cassette deck I could transfer the signal from the turntable to the cassette deck, so the same connector should send the signal to the computer. But that's not the case. Now I have to buy another cable and try to connect the player directly to the iMic.

Pros
  • Package: 1 * 5 pin DIN cable (Length=1.5m, 5ft)
Cons
  • Style 90
