I read all the reviews and by my size I ordered the large. It fits. But not comfortably so. I also have what I call thunder thighs so that's probably the reasoning. I would say if you carry all your weight in your thighs, size up, but otherwise they run quite true. They are made well other than the elastic in the waistband tends to fold inside the waistband, but I think I can fix that running a seam thru the middle. Worth the price tho.
