I was disappointed at first when I heard it was an iron/sew on applique, but I should have read the description clearer. They were too big for the back of the shoe so I decided to heel. I didn't buy fabric glue, so I attached them around the heel with pins and used a heat gun to make them glue. I had to drive very slowly and a stone or two fell out, but other than that they are great! I wore them for my first look with my husband but the needles caught in the stitches under my dress so I didn't wear them in the aisle for fear of falling. I don't plan on wearing them again but they were great for amazing wedding photos and I had fun making wedding shoes instead of spending a fortune!
