I work up to 12 hours a day with horses so comfort and durability are a must. I have a horse rescue service so all my money goes to horse rescue, not my personal fashion. I've struggled to find genuine leather boots in this price range but Shires boots fit the bill. Well made, attractive and comfortable enough although it needed a few tweaks. I don't know if my feet have grown or gotten a little small, but for the first few days I had to use a stretcher to give my toes room. to breathe. I simply inserted the carrier as I took it off while it was still warm and damp and the toe box stretched just enough to take the pressure off the toes. I also found the skin on the back to be hard so bandages are a must. first few uses. Because the boots are very well made, I am sure they will fit like slippers when I break them in. You won't find a better price than the Shires Moretta Clio paddock boots!
